The Sheep Shed

Last Months book was great!! I strongly recommend it if you haven't purchased your copy yet.  It will leave you just amazed at his story telling skills, such a great writer.  We are now moving on with the Sheep Shed.  I have read quite a bit already, getting ready for the interview. I have laughed quite a bit, just remembering things from my OWN childhood and I have had a great time reading this book so far.  Grab you copy and join me on here.

Well, chapters 9 thru 18 were very good and they did remind of a lot of things. Sometimes I wish things were simpler now, like they were back then, or even when I was a kid in the 70s. I do remember doing a lot of things as a teenager that I am glad I never got caught doing, but I did get caught every now and then, and it never was good. lol.

Happy Friday everyone. I hope that maybe some of you have received your copy of The Sheep Shed and can engage with me on this blog. I have read the entire book, but I wanted to talk about just the first 8 chapters. A lot of it I did ask about in the interview, which will hopefully be uploaded to our page soon. His memories of his childhood actually made me remember a lot of mine. Even though there is an age difference between us, I lived with my grandmother for quite a while and some things that he mentions that he had to go thru, I also remember with my grandmother. They are wonderful memories and sometimes you just need something like this book to remind you. They don’t usually come back to you on a daily basis. Look forward to some commentary from you all, and I will write next week about chapters 9 thru 17.
